The BAL Series is an architecturally designed surface mount LED fixture. It is available for continuous run mounting. The BAL utilizes state-of-the-art LED technology to deliver the highest possible efficiency in the lighting industry. The BAL is impact resistant and prevents unwanted fixture penetration. Suited for schools, behavioral health facilities, stairwells, corridors, detention centers, and public transportation areas. Ligature-resistant when mounted with top of fixture and at least 3 sides flush with ceiling/walls, and the addition of pick-proof sealant caulk is used on all edges (see next page for illustrated example).

APPLICATIONS

The BAL Series is designed to be a high quality, energy efficient LED fixtures for use in corridors, stairwells, dormitories and other applications with low ceiling height. The BAL Series is ideal for sports facilities, commercial or institutional applications.

CONSTRUCTION

One-piece die-formed prime grade material as specified. Corners continuously seam welded and smooth with no post grinding (TIG). Clamshell housing resistant to penetration and contraband concealment.

FASTENERS

Stainless steel tamper resistant T20 torx head screws.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

The fixture is provided with a precision formed, high efficiency reflector designed to direct the light downward and outward into usable horizontal illumination. The symmetrical reflector provides exceptional downward throw. Uplight option available for Pendant Mount applications.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Electronic drivers are available for 120/277V applications. Long-life LED system rated for >100K life hours (L70 @ 25°C). Metal gear tray for internal LED driver. Complies withfederal energy efficiency standards. Consult factory for special tuning to achieve specific lumen outputs.

MOUNTING

This fixture is designed for corner / wall / ceiling mounting, where the wall and ceiling meet.

LISTINGS

Independently tested to IESNA LM-79 and LM-80 specifications. UL and cUL Listed. IP66 wet location with WL option.
